“Post Diwali we are at almost 80 percent order booking and from January this is going to further improve,” he said.

On LED lighting, the company is having a very healthy order book.

“We are at almost 100 percent of our capacity in LED bulbs, we are further expanding our capacity in tube lights,” he said.

According to him, the main trigger for growth in the next fiscal is going to be mobile for the company.

“We are in the process of negotiating some large contracts with global customers for servicing not only the domestic market but also global markets,” Lall said.

"It is a wait and watch mode on the mobile PLI side. We are targeting to start production in Q4 of this fiscal. We are moving aggressively on our brands. There are also supply chain challenges on the display and the ICE side. As an industry, we have requested the government for some relaxation or extension of this period by two-three months. We have not had any response as of now,” he added.

“Government has announced PLI scheme for LED lighting. We are a large player in this particular space. We would definitely be pursuing it. The guidelines for PLI for LED lighting are expected to be announced by the government in the next 30-60 days, we would definitely be pursuing that,” he said.
