Expedia Group Q3 Adjusted Earnings, Revenue Rise; CFO Julie Whalen to Depart -- Shares Up

04:33 PM EST, 11/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Expedia Group ( EXPE ) reported Q3 adjusted earnings late Thursday of $6.13 per share, up from $5.41 a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $6.12.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $4.06 billion, up from $3.93 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $4.11 billion.

Expedia ( EXPE ) also said Chief Financial Officer Julie Whalen is leaving the company after the appointment of her successor. Whalen will remain with the company until then, which is expected around Feb. 17.

The company's shares were up 6% in recent after-hours activity.
