Ex-Pioneer CEO sues FTC for banning him from Exxon board

Jan 21 (Reuters) - Scott Sheffield, the former CEO of

Pioneer Natural Resources, sued the U.S. Federal Trade

Commission on Tuesday, saying it violated the law in an order

that barred his inclusion on Exxon Mobil's ( XOM ) board after

Pioneer was acquired.
