01:58 PM EST, 12/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Exxon Mobil ( XOM ) disclosed Tuesday that senior vice president and chief financial officer Kathryn Mikells will retire, starting Feb. 1, 2026, as she continues treatment for a debilitating but non-life threatening health condition.
Mikells has undergone several procedures in recent months and decided to retire to focus full-time on her recovery, the company said in a filing.
Exxon Mobil ( XOM ) said it elected Neil Hansen to succeed Mikells as senior vice president and CFO, starting the same day. Hansen has been president of ExxonMobil Global Business Solutions since May.
Shares of the company were up more than 2% in recent Tuesday trading.
