Exxon Mobil Selects Chart Industries' Liquefaction Technology for Mozambique LNG Project

09:06 AM EDT, 10/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Exxon Mobil ( XOM ) said Friday it has selected Chart Industries' ( GTLS ) liquefaction technology and equipment for the Rovuma liquefied natural gas project in Mozambique.

The project will produce, liquefy and market natural gas and includes the construction of 12 modules with a total LNG capacity of 18 million metric tons annually, Exxon Mobil ( XOM ) said.

The company said the selection of Chart Industries' ( GTLS ) technology and equipment for the liquefaction modules is expected to help increase project competitiveness, improve reliability and cut greenhouse gas emissions.
