Exxon Mobil Shareholders Reportedly Re-Elect 12 Incumbent Directors

12:41 PM EDT, 05/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Exxon Mobil ( XOM ) shareholders re-elected 12 incumbent directors, with an average support of 95%, media outlets reported Wednesday.

Among those re-elected were Chair Darren Woods and lead director Joseph Hooley, who were targeted by activist investors.

At the annual meeting Wednesday, shareholders rejected proposals that called for reports on gender and race, plastics pollution and additional social impact, according to the reports.

Exxon didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
