FAA Ends Probe of United Airlines, Finding no Major Safety Flaws
Oct 3, 2024 2:02 AM

04:47 AM EDT, 10/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- The Federal Aviation Administration has concluded its months-long investigation of possible safety issues at United Airlines (UAL) and found no major concerns, media outlets reported Wednesday, citing an FAA statement.

"The FAA finished its Certificate Holder Evaluation Program of United Airlines. The review did not identify any significant safety issues," the news outlet AviationSource quoted the FAA as saying.

The probe was launched earlier this year after a series of safety incidents at the airline.

The FAA and United Airlines did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
