04:43 PM EST, 03/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Fairfax Financial Holdings ( FRFHF ) on Friday said Amy Sherk will become the chief financial officer, while Jennifer Allen, who has held the role since 2019, will move to chief business officer, effective Monday.

Sherk, with over 20 years at Fairfax, most recently served as CFO of Fairfax India (FIH-U.TO). Debbie Chalkley, with 13 years at Fairfax, will become CFO of Fairfax India starting Monday, the company added.

"Amy has been outstanding in her numerous roles with Fairfax companies over the past 20 years and is the natural successor to Jenn, just as she was at Fairfax India. We know from our long relationship with Amy that she has the knowledge, commitment and experience to seamlessly assume the CFO position at Fairfax," Chief Executive Prem Watsa said.
