08:03 AM EDT, 07/31/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Fairfax Financial Holdings ( FRFHF ) Thursday evening reported second-quarter net earnings rose to $63.38 per share, from $61.61 per share, in the previous corresponding quarter.

Net insurance revenue for the quarter ended June 30 advanced to $6.7 billion, from $6.4 billion over the same period.

Underwriting income, which measures the profitability of of Fairfax's property and casualty insurance and reinsurance operations, climbed to $458.6 million from $426.9 million. The undiscounted combined ratio, a key metric which measures how much an insurer is paying out, improved slightly to 93.1% from 93.3% in 2025. Fairfax credited the improvement to growth in business volumes.
