08:29 AM EDT, 06/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Fanhua ( FANH ) said Monday it will collaborate with Baidu ( BIDU ) AI Cloud to jointly develop an AI-powered insurance sales assistant application.

Under the collaboration, Fanhua ( FANH ) said it will provide servers, insurance knowledge data, a product development team and an expert team, while Baidu ( BIDU ) will offer large model dialogue, model refining capabilities, and financial model middleware technical support.

The AI assistant, named "Du Xiaobao", is expected to start beta testing with seed users in June, followed by a version 1.0 launch in July, according to Fanhua ( FANH ).

Financial details of the partnership weren't disclosed.
