Farmmi Files $100 Million Mixed Shelf; Shares Rise After Hours

05:24 PM EDT, 06/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Farmmi ( FAMI ) filed a shelf registration statement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission covering the potential sale of up to $100 million of its securities from time to time in one or more offerings.

The filing covers any possible combination of ordinary shares, warrants, stock units, rights, share purchase contracts, share purchase units, and debt securities.

Farmmi ( FAMI ) said late Thursday it would use the net proceeds from the offering for working capital and other general corporate purposes, including repaying or refinancing existing debt or potential acquisitions.

The shares of the company were up more than 4% in after-hours trading.
