04:27 PM EST, 11/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Federal Realty Investment Trust ( FRT ) said Friday that President and Chief Operating Officer Jeffrey Berkes is leaving the company, effective Dec. 31.

CEO Don Wood will reassume the additional role of president and the COO position will not be backfilled, according to the company.

Eastern region COO Wendy Seher, Western region COO Jeff Kreshek, and Chief Investment Officer Jan Sweetnam will report directly to Wood.
