04:47 PM EDT, 03/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- FedEx ( FDX ) Monday said Robert B. Carter plans to retire as chief information officer on June 30, but will remain as a special advisor through the end of the year to ensure smooth transition.

Carter retires after more than 31 years at the shipping and logistics company.

Sriram Krishnasamy, currently FedEx's ( FDX ) chief transformation officer and president and chief executive of FedEx Dataworks, will serve as chief digital and information officer on July 1.
