FedEx Founder Frederick Smith Passes Away

06:44 AM EDT, 06/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- FedEx ( FDX ) said Sunday that its founder and executive chairman, Frederick Smith, has passed away.

Smith, who also formerly served as the company's chief executive officer, passed away from natural causes on Saturday, according to the statement.
