09:44 AM EDT, 04/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ferrari (RACE) introduced Tuesday the new Ferrari 296 Speciale, which has a plug-in hybrid system and 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 that reaches an equivalent of 700 horsepower.

With the new model, the company said its engineers focused on lateral performance, shifting, braking, and sound, aside from longitudinal acceleration.

The improvements allow the model to finish a lap in the Fiorano test track 2.5 seconds faster than its 488 Pista predecessor, the company said.
