12:38 PM EDT, 06/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ferrovial (FER) said Friday it has acquired some 3.3% of Highway 407 ETR shares from affiliates of AtkinsRealis Group and exercised its call option to buy 1.76% additional shares, raising its stake in the Canadian highway to about 48.29%.

The company said it is investing 1.99 billion Canadian dollars ($1.45 billion) for the 5.06% stake.

Highway 407 ETR is a 108 kilometer toll highway in the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario, Canada.
