May 22 (Reuters) - Crews were responding to a large fire
that broke out at a metal recycling facility in Redwood City in
California on Wednesday, according to multiple local media
reports.
The fire was reported just before 3:00 p.m. Pacific time at
the Sims Metal recycling center located at 699 Seaport Blvd, and
broke out in a metal scrap pile that was set to be shredded, per
the reports.
There were no immediate indications of any injuries due to
the incident, local media reported.
