04:57 AM EDT, 08/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Firefly Aerospace ( FLY ) said in a Tuesday filing that the Federal Aviation Administration, or FAA, has approved its resumption of Alpha rocket launches after the flight 6 "mishap" in April.
An investigation into the incident confirmed that Firefly's flight safety system "performed nominally" over the flight, with both Alpha stages landing in the Pacific Ocean, according to the filing.
Firefly said it has implemented corrective actions since and is now working to set the next available launch window for Alpha flight 7.
