FireFly Metals Reports High-Grade Drill Results at Green Bay Gold-Copper Project in Newfoundland
May 26, 2025 8:29 AM

07:20 AM EDT, 05/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- FireFly Metals ( MNXMF ) reported overnight Wednesday high-grade gold and copper mineralization from its surface drill program at the Green Bay copper-gold project in Newfoundland.

The company said its maiden drilling program at the historical Rambler Main mine within Green Bay returned high-grade gold-copper-zinc intersections. Highlights include 10.0 meters at 6.4% copper equivalent, and 12.9 meters at 4.3% copper equivalent.

The results "support our view of the camp-scale potential at Green Bay and therefore the scope to keep growing the mineral resource through resource extensions and discoveries," said Steve Parsons, managing director of FireFly.

FireFly said it has conducted a similar surface drilling program at the nearby historical East Mine, with results expected soon.
