07:59 AM EDT, 09/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- First Atlantic Nickel ( FANCF ) Wednesday reported a significant expansion of visible mineralization at the RPM zone of its Atlantic Nickel project in Newfoundland.
The second hole of the Phase 2 program intersected 495 meters of visibly disseminated awaruite, the company said. The mineralized section located 400 meters north of the RPM discovery holes has expanded to 750 meters in width, a 50% increase from the 500-meter width established in Phase 1.
Phase 2 prospecting across the 30-kilometer Pipestone complex has also collected numerous surface rock samples containing visible awaruite for assay and metallurgical testing.
First Atlantic said it will provide additional updates on the Phase 2 program in the coming weeks.
The shares closed up $0.005 at $0.15 Tuesday on the TSX Venture Exchange.
