First Busey Closes 8.6 Million Depositary Share Offering

05:36 PM EDT, 05/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- First Busey ( BUSE ) said late Tuesday it closed a public offering of 8.6 million depositary shares for net proceeds of roughly $207.5 million.

Each depositary share represents a 2.5% ownership interest in a share of its 8.25% series B non-cumulative perpetual preferred stock, with a liquidation preference of $1,000 per share, the company said.
