03:06 PM EST, 12/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- First Financial Bancorp ( FFBC ). (FFBC) said Monday that it has received regulatory approval from the Federal Reserve and the Ohio Department of Financial Institutions regarding its $142 million all-stock acquisition of BankFinancial.

The transaction is slated to close on Jan. 1, subject to approval by BankFinancial shareholders and customary closing conditions, First Financial said.
