05:38 PM EDT, 10/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- First Interstate BancSystem ( FIBK ) said Wednesday it appointed James A. Reuter as chief executive, starting Nov. 1.

Reuter joins First Interstate BancSystem ( FIBK ) from FirstBank Holding, where he held the positions of president and chief executive before stepping down in March 2024, according to First Interstate.

The company said Reuter will succeed Kevin Riley, who is retiring.
