First Majestic Silver's Q3 Production in Mexico Drops to 5.5 Million Equivalent Ounces

08:12 AM EDT, 10/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- First Majestic Silver ( AG ) said Thursday its total Q3 production from its three underground mines in Mexico was 5.5 million silver equivalent ounces, down from 6.3 million equivalent ounces a year earlier.

The three mines -- Santa Elena, San Dimas, and La Encantada -- produced almost 2.0 million silver ounces compared with 2.5 million silver ounces a year earlier.

The mines produced 41,761 gold ounces, down from 46,720 ounces a year earlier.

First Majestic Silver ( AG ) said it expects improved production levels in Q4 at the San Dimas silver and gold mine following an agreement that was reached with unionized workers in August.
