First Merchants Board Chair Retires, Succeeded by Jean Wojtowicz

12:24 PM EDT, 05/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- First Merchants ( FRME ) on Wednesday announced the retirement of board chair Charles E. Schalliol, to be succeeded by Jean L. Wojtowicz, effective Tuesday.

Wojtowicz is the founder and president of Cambridge Capital Management and has been on the First Merchants ( FRME ) board for nearly 20 years, the company said.

Meanwhile, the company said it had appointed former chief executive Michael C. Rechin as vice chair of the board.
