07:42 AM EDT, 09/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- First Mining Gold ( FFMGF ) Wednesday reported additional drill results from the Duparquet gold project in Quebec, expanding its newly discovered Miroir target.
Highlights of the results include 3.23 grams per tonne gold over 25.9 meters, including 11.2 g/t gold over 2 meters, and including 10.16 g/t gold over 1.4 meters. The intercept extended mineralization to 100 meters depth below surface following a previously delineated 100 meters strike extension.
Recent exploration success at Miroir continues to highlight this area together with the CVD and Aiguille targets as an emerging cluster of potential resource growth centers with synergies for future mining development.
"The strong grades and widths encountered to date provide new and exciting opportunities in our review of development scenarios that can now include near-surface, higher grade mineralization potential," First Mining chief executive Dan Wilton said.
