07:41 AM EDT, 05/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- First Mining Gold ( FFMGF ) reported Wednesday initial drilling results from the 2025 drill campaign at the Duparquet gold project in Quebec.
Highlights from the Miroir target include 2.77 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 11.1 meters, including 4.36 g/t gold over 6.5 meters. Results from the Valentre target include 3.96 g/t gold over 9.3 meters, including 5.71 g/t gold over 5.8 meters.
"Our exploration drilling continues to demonstrate significant resource growth potential by delineating new discovery zones as well as demonstrating the continuity of mineralization along strike and at depth within underexplored areas of the Duparquet Gold Project," said Dan Wilton, CEO of First Mining.
"The confirmation of the continuity of near-surface mineralization in the Valentre and Miroir areas demonstrates that this well-established resource, already one of the largest in Quebec, can continue to grow," Wilton added.
First Mining aims to complete an estimated 18,000 meters of drilling as part of its 2025 campaign.
The company's share price fell 3.1% on Tuesday to $0.155 on the TSX.
