First Nordic Metals Highlights Results From Storjuktan Project in Northern Sweden
Jun 10, 2024 5:12 AM

07:50 AM EDT, 06/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- First Nordic Metals ( FNMCF ) on Monday outlined the results from its recent belt-scale glacial till geochemical survey targeting orogenic gold mineral systems at the Storjuktan project located on the Gold Line belt in northern Sweden.

The company collected 4,357 regional B-Horizon samples covering about 2,000 hectares over multiple untested structural corridors within the central portion of the 25,0000-hectare Storjuktan project area.

Surface till sampling identified a large and cohesive 5-kilometer by 1-kilometer As-Cu-Mo-Zn pathfinder anomaly coincident with a historic ionic leach gold anomaly. Anomalies are oriented in the down-ice direction and coincide with favorable geology and a prominent second-order structural corridor, the company added.
