First Watch Restaurant Group Swings to Loss in Q1, Revenue Rises; Shares Fall

09:48 AM EDT, 05/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Shares of First Watch Restaurant Group ( FWRG ) fell 26% in early trading Tuesday after the company reported a fiscal Q1 net loss of $0.01 per diluted share, swinging from a profit of $0.12 a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected earnings of $0.03.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 30 was $282.2 million, compared with $242.4 million a year earlier.
