Fiserv to Acquire Remaining 49.9% Stake in Irish Joint Venture

03:22 AM EDT, 06/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Fiserv ( FI ) said Friday it agreed to acquire the remaining 49.9% stake in its Irish joint venture, AIB Merchant Services.

Financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed.

The transaction requires approval from regulators and is expected to complete in Q3.

Fiserv ( FI ) formed AIB Merchant Services, a payments firm, in 2007 with AIB Group.
