06:46 AM EDT, 05/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Fission Uranium ( FCUUF ) on Tuesday said it has completed the first phase of geotechnical drilling at its PLS uranium mine and mill project in Saskatchewan.

The company remains on schedule to complete the detailed engineering stage in the third quarter.

Fission has also commenced two new drill programs focusing on resource conversion of the R1515W high-grade zone for inclusion in the mine plan, as well as testing of regional exploration targets.
