Fission Uranium Completes Winter Drill Program At PLS Project
Mar 25, 2024 4:49 AM

07:18 AM EDT, 03/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Fission Uranium Corp. ( FCUUF ) said Monday that it has completed its winter 2024 exploration drill program at the PLS uranium project in the Athabasca Basin region of Saskatchewan.

The company said it completed 15 holes totaling 5,567 meters, with seven holes at the Far East target hitting anomalous features that are considered prospective and proximal to the presence of nearby uranium mineralization.

Fission said it also identified "highly prospective geology" at the Pistol and Saddle target areas, while both holes at the Saloon target were deemed highly prospective.

"This is an extremely encouraging start to the renewed exploration activity at PLS," CEO Ross McElroy said. "With anomalous radioactivity in multiple holes, we are very excited to have a number of high-priority target areas identified for followup drilling."
