06:54 AM EDT, 10/31/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Fission Uranium ( FCUUF ) on Thursday said it has staked four new properties in the Athabasca Basin region of Saskatchewan.
The Typhoon, Corsair, Merlin and Seahawk properties all have positive, limited historical fieldwork and are considered to be highly prospective greenfield exploration projects, the company said.
Typhoon is located around 20 kilometers south of Fission's PLS project and 35 kilometers south-southwest of the Athabasca Basin.
Corsair is located 110 kilometers east-southeast of the PLS project and consists of three groups of non-contiguous mineral claims.
Merlin is located in the eastern Athabasca Basin, 36 kilometers west of Cameco's Key Lake uranium mill, and consists of one mineral claim.
Seahawk is located around 33 kilometers southeast of the Athabasca Basin and is composed of 18 non-contiguous mineral claims.
