07:45 AM EDT, 04/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Fission Uranium Corp. ( FCUUF ) said Monday it plans to launch two drilling programs at its PLS uranium project in Canada's Athabasca Basin in early May.
The company said it will conduct a 15-hole, 6,650-meter regional drill program that will follow up on the highest priority target areas identified during the recent winter exploration program.
Fission said it will also commence a 19-hole, 5,830-meter program focused on in-fill drilling the R1515W high-grade zone to upgrade majority of the zone's inferred resources to the indicated category.
"We have two concurrent drill programs at PLS commencing next month," President and CEO Ross McElroy said. "By doing so, we have the clear potential to further increase our mine reserves and mine life."
