Flagstar Financial Gets Regulatory Approvals for Merger

05:29 PM EDT, 10/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Flagstar Financial ( FLG/PU ) said late Monday it secured regulatory approvals from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency to merge with and into Flagstar Bank.

The resulting entity will continue to be known as Flagstar Bank, with no change in the ticker symbol, it said. The reorganization is also subject to shareholder approval.
