Flipkart in talks to add Cleartrip to its shopping cart
Mar 2, 2021 11:30 AM

Walmart-owned, Flipkart is keen to add online travel aggregator Cleartrip to its shopping cart. According to sources, Flipkart is in active discussions to take up a controlling stake in Cleartrip.

This is in-line with Flipkart’s strategy to diversify into new product lines and categories via acquisitions and bolstering its gross merchandise value (GMV).

If this deal fructifies, Flipkart will get direct access to airlines, railway and hotel bookings.
