Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.45.

Net sales in the 13 weeks ended Sept. 25 rose to $1.18 billion from $1.12 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $1.17 billion.

The company expects fiscal 2025 diluted EPS of $1.87 to $1.97 on net sales of $4.66 billion to $4.71 billion. That compared with guidance of EPS at $1.70 to $2.0, and net sales of $4.66 billion to $4.75 billion.

Analysts polled by FactSet expect EPS of $1.81 on revenue of $4.70 billion.

The company's shares jumped 7.7% in after-hours trading.
