09:15 AM EST, 02/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Flowers Foods ( FLO ) said Friday it has completed its acquisition of Simple Mills, a producer of crackers, cookies, snack bars, and baking mixes.

The company previously said it agreed to acquire Simple Mills for $795 million in cash from Katlin Smith, Simple Mills management, Vestar Capital Partners, and initial angel investors.

Flowers Foods ( FLO ) also said in January it expects the acquisition to be immediately accretive to net sales and to earnings per share in 2026.

FLO shares were up 0.4% in recent premarket activity.
