Flowers Foods Fiscal Q1 Adjusted Earnings Flat, Sales Increase; Reaffirms 2024 Guidance

04:27 PM EDT, 05/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Flowers Foods ( FLO ) reported fiscal Q1 adjusted earnings Thursday of $0.38 per diluted share, flat from a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.41.

Sales for the quarter ended April 20 rose to $1.58 billion from $1.53 billion a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.58 billion.

The company kept its fiscal year 2024 adjusted EPS outlook of $1.20 to $1.30 on sales of $5.09 billion to $5.17 billion. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected EPS of $1.24 on sales of $5.16 billion.
