05:57 PM EDT, 07/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Fluor (FLR) said late Monday it signed a contract with RoPower Nuclear for phase 2 front-end engineering and design work at its small modular reactor facility in Doicesti, Romania.

The company said it will customize a six-reactor small modular reactor power plant with NuScale technology, capable of producing up to 462 megawatts.

Fluor said it will recognize the contract as a new award in Q3.
