12:24 PM EDT, 07/31/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Flutter Entertainment ( FLUT ) said Thursday it extended its partnership with Boyd Gaming ( BYD ) to 2038 and closed the acquisition of Boyd's 5% stake in FanDuel Group.

The acquisition announced earlier resulted in Flutter's 100% ownership of FanDuel. The agreement also provides for an extension of the partnership between FanDuel and Boyd to reduce access costs where FanDuel's access is provided by Boyd. That's expected to result in annual savings for Futter of about $65 million, beginning July 1, according to the company.

Boyd said it received $1.76 billion from the stake sale and plans to use the proceeds to repay debt.
