FlyHouse Announces Plans to Acquire Sun Air Jets, Strengthening Its Aviation Ecosystem
Oct 15, 2025 5:38 AM

This strategic acquisition accelerates FlyHouse's vertical integration, adds Federal Aviation Administration

Part 145 Repair Station certification

, and broadens its global market reach

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 15, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- FlyHouse, the private aviation company redefining jet charter through transparency, technology, and service, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Sun Air Jets, a Southern California-based aircraft management and charter operator. The transaction represents a strategic expansion of FlyHouse's maintenance, management, and operational capabilities as the company continues to build a vertically integrated aviation platform.

The acquisition will broaden FlyHouse's service offerings and infrastructure while maintaining its core commitment to safety, operational excellence, and client experience. Upon closing, Sun Air Jets' operations and personnel will be integrated into the FlyHouse network, extending the company's presence in key U.S. markets.

FlyHouse's acquisition of Sun Air Jets immediately expands and improves upon FlyHouse's services through:

Fleet and Management Expansion: The addition of multiple super-mid and large-cabin aircraft will expand FlyHouse's owned and managed fleet, supplementing more than 2,000 aircraft currently accessible through its global charter network. The diversified fleet enhances FlyHouse's flexibility to meet mission needs across distance, passenger count, and performance requirements.

Infrastructure and Facilities: FlyHouse will assume hangar, ramp, and support facilities at Van Nuys and Camarillo Airports, including a Fixed-Base Operator (FBO) at Camarillo. The expanded footprint enables more efficient aircraft servicing, crew operations, and client support across key West Coast locations.

Federal Aviation Administration Part 145 Repair Station: The addition of Sun Air Jets' certified maintenance and repair station provides FlyHouse with in-house maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) capabilities, enabling direct oversight of inspection, maintenance, and component work. The certification also opens a new business line for third-party maintenance services.

Safety and Standards: FlyHouse will integrate Sun Air Jets' Argus Platinum, IS-BAO, and Wyvern Wingman certifications, reinforcing the company's long-standing commitment to operational safety and regulatory compliance.

"Our agreement to acquire Sun Air Jets represents a defining move in FlyHouse's growth," said Jack E. Lambert Jr., CEO of FlyHouse. "Owning a 145 repair station, an expanded fleet, and premier facilities at Van Nuys and Camarillo fundamentally changes our capabilities. We've built FlyHouse to be the first ecosystem brand in private aviation — one that owns its infrastructure, integrates technology at every level, and delivers a service experience that's seamless end-to-end."

The transaction also positions FlyHouse for international expansion by standardizing maintenance, safety, and operational procedures to meet European certification requirements and cross-border regulatory compliance.

More than 100 aviation professionals from Sun Air Jets will join FlyHouse as part of the expansion, strengthening the company's operational, maintenance, and client service teams with proven industry expertise. Together, they will continue advancing FlyHouse's mission to deliver a technology-driven aviation ecosystem that makes private travel simpler, smarter, and more accessible.
