FMC Q2 Adjusted Earnings, Revenue Rise; Q3 Outlook Set; 2024 Guidance Revised -- Shares Jump After Hours

05:59 PM EDT, 07/31/2024 (MT Newswires) -- FMC (FMC) reported Q2 adjusted earnings late Wednesday of $0.63 per diluted share, up from $0.50 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.55.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $1.04 billion, up from $1.01 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.03 billion.

The company said it expects Q3 adjusted EPS between $0.39 and $0.67 and revenue between $1.00 billion and $1.09 billion.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $0.94 and $1.11 billion.

The company reduced its full-year 2024 adjusted EPS guidance to between $3.02 and $3.64 from $3.23 and $4.41 previously and revenue between $4.3 billion and $4.5 billion from between $4.5 billion and $4.7 billion previously.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $3.50 and $4.42 billion.

Shares of the company were up 5.4% in after-hours activity.
