05:13 PM EDT, 08/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- FMC (FMC) said it submitted regulatory applications for Dodhylex active herbicide in India, Brazil, the Philippines, the US, Colombia, South Korea, Peru, and Taiwan, which account for about 35% of the estimated 165 million hectares of planted rice globally.
Regulatory submissions in other markets are planned, the company said late Tuesday. FMC expects the first launches in 2026.
Dodhylex active, FMC's brand name for tetflupyrolimet, is a new rotational tool for growers to manage herbicide resistance, it said.
