Fomento Economico Mexicano Q2 Net Income Falls, Revenue Rises; Shares Fall

09:34 AM EDT, 07/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Fomento Economico Mexicano (FMX) shares were down more than 4% in early trading after the company reported Q2 net income Monday of 5.59 billion Mexican pesos ($300.4 million), down from 15.67 billion Mexican pesos a year earlier.

One analyst polled by FactSet expected 6.76 billion Mexican pesos.

Revenue for the quarter was 211.36 billion Mexican pesos, up from 198.74 billion Mexican pesos a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected 211.51 billion Mexican pesos.
