Two analysts polled by Capital IQ expected 8.21 billion pesos.
Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was 178.20 billion pesos, up from 160.11 billion pesos a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected 181.30 billion pesos.
Shares of the company were up 0.3% in recent Friday trading.
