Spotify, a music streaming service, is now available for download in India on the App Store, Google Play and Microsoft Store, reported Gadgets 360.

According to the report, the app is free to download. The monthly plans start at Rs 119 and its annual plan costs Rs 1,189. It can also be purchased for one day, seven days, and one, three and six months for Rs 13, Rs 39, Rs 129, Rs 389 and Rs 719, respectively.

For Apple or Windows devices, you will not be able to sign up for the subscription-based offering Spotify Premium but you can play music if you want.

Spotify has customised its browse section — known as “Search” since the app refresh in April last year — to suit Indian tastes, with sections such as Bollywood, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu music upfront alongside genres and collections such as pop, romance, party, hip-hop, R&B, K-pop, reggae, workout, chill, focus, sleep, summer, dinner, jazz, gaming, soul, classical, latin, metal, kids, blues, funk, punk, travel, comedy, country, and folk & acoustic among others, the report said.
