07:47 AM EDT, 05/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Foran Mining ( FMCXF ) on Tuesday highlighted additional assay results from the ongoing 2024 exploration program at the Tesla and Bridge zones, part of its 100%-owned Mcllvenna Bay property in Saskatchewan.
The company said it has identified significant intervals in step-out holes down-dip. Also, Tesla Zone mineralization and continuity were confirmed along strike and at depth.
Electromagnetic surveys outlined a further potential +50-meter up-dip and +200-meter down-dip continuation of mineralization, the company said. The Tesla Zone continues to remain open in all directions.
Hole TS-24-20, a 230-meter down-dip step-out hole returned multiple massive and semi-massive lenses over 123 meters in core length.
Among the highlights, the company reported 26.9 meters grading 1.23% copper, 7.55% zinc, 38.4 g/t of silver and 0.20 g/t of gold, including 2.5 meters grading 2.40% copper, 5.39% zinc, 62.5 g/t of silver and 0.20 g/t of gold, and 4.7 meters grading 0.62% copper, 12.59% zinc, 26.8 g/t of silver and 0.05 g/t of gold.
Also, the company reported 10 meters grading 0.81% copper, 4.99% zinc, 31.4 g/t of silver and 0.35 g/t of gold, including 2.7 meters grading 0.33% copper, 9.54% zinc, 21.1 g/t of silver and 0.12 g/t of gold.
Hole TS-24-15, also a 320-meter down-dip and step-out hole from the main Tesla Zone, intersected multiple massive to semi-massive lenses about 120-meter southwards along strike from hole TS-24-20.
Meanwhile, hole TS-24-21, the southernmost down-dip hole drilled to date, defined a 700-meter trend of deep intersections from HG-23-01, the company said.
The lower zone from previously released hole MB-24-290 located near the southern end of Tesla - Bridge Zone transition, intersected significant mineralization in the Bridge Zone, the company added.
The company said Tesla expansion drilling continues with two drills targeting down-dip / along-strike extensions at the north end of the zone.
The company has commenced a summer drilling program with four drills to be split between Tesla infill drilling and testing of high-priority regional exploration targets.
