Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.47.

Revenue in the quarter ended Sept. 30 rose to $46.20 billion from $43.80 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $42.32 billion.

The company kept its quarterly dividend at $0.15 per share, payable on Dec. 2 to shareholders of record on Nov. 7

Shares of Ford Motor ( F ) slumped 4.5% in after-hours activity.
