11:40 AM EDT, 09/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ford Motor ( F ) said Monday it is relocating its world headquarters for the first time in almost 70 years, shifting from its historic "Glass House" building to a newly constructed 2.1-million-square-foot product development campus just three miles away in Dearborn, Michigan.
The automaker said it will open its new headquarters in November, which will accommodate up to 4,000 staff, with the campus expected to have a total of 14,000 employees when it is completed in 2027.
The company said the old headquarters will be decommissioned and demolished within 18 months, with plans to redevelop the site in partnership with the city of Dearborn.
